Sejal is the Program Director of the Upper Manhattan Early Childhood Collaborative (UMECC), under the umbrella of Strategic Initiatives at LINC. A pediatrician by training, she has developed her career with a passion for early childhood health and equity, and a population-level lens to make meaningful change. She is leveraging her prior experience at the Office of School Health (DOHMH) and Reach Out and Read to now serve this team and the children and families of Upper Manhattan, with a focus on expanding UMECC’s Early Intervention Resource Center + enrollment of children in 3K and pre-K. Sejal is excited to be part of this work and looks forward to building relationships with her colleagues and community members.
