Eliana has led LINC through programmatic expansion and organizational growth while also improving its equity framework and organizational development. Passionate about education justice, she brings 20 years of experience in the private and nonprofit sectors, developing institutional capacity, designing programs and organizing communities across a wide range of social issues in NYC and across Latin America. She is a recipient of the Union Square Awards and Catherine Reynolds Fellowship on Social Entrepreneurship in recognition of her cultural and community organizing work with immigrant artists and communities. Eliana earned a B.S. in Communications from Boston University and received her MPA from NYU. Eliana was born in La Paz, Bolivia, and she speaks English and Spanish. She has many favorite children’s books – the latest ones are Guess How Much I Love You and The First Rule of Punk. Eliana loves mountains, live music and theater, and enjoys finding new trails, art and community events to enjoy in her free time.
