As the Senior Community Coordinator, Araceli builds relationships with Kingsbridge families, encouraging them to attend programs and build reading routines at home. She also works with Kingsbridge Very Involved Parents (VIPs) to help them foster their innate gifts for teaching children. She maintains relationships with community partners, helping families learn about all the resources their neighborhood has to offer. Araceli first came to LINC as a VIP herself; she was recruited through her nephews’ school. She then joined our staff as a Community Assistant. Araceli was born in Manhattan and raised in Kingsbridge, and she speaks English and Spanish. As an art lover, she spends her free time drawing, watching DIY art tutorials, and learning about fun ways to share art with her community. Her favorite children’s book is The Giving Tree.
