Jessica joined LINC in 2014, initially coming to us as a part-time assistant in Queens. She loved the work and the mission so much that she transitioned to full time, now serving as our Brooklyn Community Manager. In this role, she builds and manages relationships with our external partners, including libraries, schools, resource providers, and other organizations serving the community. She also collaborates on programs with the other organizations in the Reads initiative, a collective impact project that coordinates the early literacy work of LINC and nine other organizations in East New York and South Jamaica. Jessica additionally recruits Brooklyn families for our programs to help build literacy-rich homes and neighborhoods. Jessica speaks English and Spanish. A native of Long Island, she enjoys spending her free time at area beaches. She also enjoys listening to music and reading. Her favorite children’s book is Yoga the Lion.
