LINC Team Gearing Up to Present in the 54th Annual International Bilingual Education Conference



Literacy in Community (LINC) is pleased to announce that two of our team members will be speaking at the 54th Annual International Bilingual Education Conference in Atlanta, GA from February 19-22, 2025. This year’s conference, Multilingualism for a United Global Society is a timely topic. 


Literacy in Community (LINC) is pleased to announce that LINC’s Director of Early Literacy, Josh Barocas and Senior Manager of Early Literacy, Allison Zambito will be presenting at the 54th Annual International Bilingual Education Conference in Atlanta, GA from February 19-22, 2025. 


Organized by the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE), this year’s theme is Multilingualism for a United Global Society, a topic that LINC is proud to expand on as it speaks to our early literacy work with multilingual learners and ensuring that we meet the needs of our families. 


This year, the conference will include several special sessions to address concerns about recent executive orders and steps that educators can take to lessen the impact on students. 


Other topics include: Shaping the Future of a Bilingual Workforce; Artificial Intelligence in Bilingual Education; Trends, Policy, Research and Practices and guests include speakers from the U.S. Department of Education; Educational Achievement Services, Inc.; OLEA. Sessions will also be available in NABE’s new On-Demand Library. 


NABE’s annual conference is a unique opportunity for professionals in the United States dedicated to exploring topics of interest for teachers, administrators, and parents of English learners (ELs), which include dual language education, second language acquisition, bilingual education, assessment and accountability, teacher training, special education, and grassroots activism.


The National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) is the only national professional organization devoted to representing bilingual/multilingual students and bilingual and dual language education professionals. NABE has 20 state/regional a­ffiliates and 4 international affiliates, which collectively represent more than 5,000 members. These members include bilingual and English learner (ELs) teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, administrators, professors, advocates, researchers, and policymakers.
