LINC’s Reading on the Rails Event Featured in the News

Reading on the Rails took place on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Families from all five boroughs of New York came together to read on the subway to City Hall. While in transit, LINC held read-a-louds and distributed books to all families in attendance.

The event culminated with a rally at City Hall to support summer reading. Special guests City Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, City Council Member Daniel Dromm, City Council Member Mark Levine and Dora the Explorer were all in attendance to support early literacy!
